ABC Business of Brides Conference

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Well, we just returned from our annual ABC Business of Brides conference! What an exciting time this is for weddings! We all had a blast and new relationships were formed! I was given the privilege and pleasure once again to help plan and oversee the conference for the second consecutive year. I so enjoy doing this, and the opportunity to give back to the industry I am blessed to be a part of. This year we were in Newport Beach, California! If you’ve never been, you may want to add this location to your list of places you would like to visit – breathtakingly beautiful! We had many wonderful speakers & presenters including Barbara Wallace and our special guest, world-renowned wedding & event -planner extraordinaire, TV Host and lifestyle expert "Colin Cowie" of Lifestyles and now the new host of Get Married! Colin has such a passion and enthusiasm for life and weddings and his brides! He’s so inspiring and very contagious! He’s a genuine person and we learned so much from him. I had the added benefit of working directly with him and his wonderful team! What a treat! We all truly had a great time with Colin and at the whole event! I can’t wait to share more with you!

Everyone who had a hand in this year’s event did an awesome job! This was a spectacular conference! Thank you to all of you for showing us what Southern California has to offer and for blowing us away with your amazing talent!

Lauren & Robert's Happily Ever After...

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

I’m often asked “how do you deal with all those crazy brides,” or “how many bridezillas do you have” or something along those lines. Honestly, I don’t know what people are talking about. I have the best job and have had the privilege of planning and coordinating weddings for the most fabulous brides and their families. Thank you to all for taking me on your journey!

Lauren and Robert are one of those couples. The celebration was held at the W.P Presbyterian Church then continued at the W.P. Racquet Club. Lauren and Rob are one of those couples that you wish you could work with every weekend! The whole family was just a joy to be around.

The wedding day started out to be the most beautiful day … sun shining, soft breeze, birds singing – gorgeous! But as the day went on, it grew to be extremely windy and we had to move the soiree inside. Although slightly disappointed, our bride & groom had their priorities right and exuded class and grace. It was still just as spectacular and everyone had a wonderful time! To be honest, I don’t think anyone even realized : ) Root Photography were superb in making sure our bride & groom got the stunning outdoor shots they wanted and Treasured Moments captured all on video. It was such a wonderful experience that we were sad to see the wedding day come to an end. Fortunately, for us, we are going to have another opportunity to spend time with all of them as we just learned that Lauren’s brother, Mark is getting married in April! Thanks for asking us to come along again!

Congratulations to all!

Linda featured on The Good Life

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

Recently I was invited to be a guest on one of Central Florida's TV stations - TV 45, The Good Life program. They were interested in doing a segment on weddings and how you can enjoy what should be one of the happiest times in your life. We discussed tips on how to save money when planning a wedding, decor, wedding etiquette, working with parents and future in-laws, do's and don'ts and the sacredness of this once in a lifetime event.

The hosts, Barbara and Ken, producers and the whole staff were all so fabulous! Best group of people I've ever met. It was such a blast being on the set with all of them and talking about my passion...

Welcome!
